WATERTOWN, S.D.–Two separate, but deadly traffic crashes in northeast South Dakota to tell you about this morning.

The first occurred on Highway 212, ten miles north of Clear Lake when a pickup that was eastbound crossed the centerline and collided with the rear trailer tire of a semi that was westbound.

The pickup left the road and came to a stop in a slough. The 64 year-old woman driving the pickup died, while the 35 year-old man driving the semi was not injured.

The other crash involved just one vehicle, five miles northwest of Aberdeen.

A 55 year-old man was driving a pickup Tuesday night when it entered a ditch and rolled.

That man died at the scene.

Authorities have not released names of those involved in either crash yet.
