WATERTOWN, S.D. — Fargo-based developer Jesse Craig is further expanding his presence in Watertown, today announcing a new construction management and property management businesses for the projects he is currently developing in Watertown.

Prevail, located in the Goss Opera House, has received acclaim for its design and contextual fit with the community.

Prevail partner, Jesse Kiihl, is the Construction Manager. He grew up in Castlewood, SD and then moved to Watertown, SD to attend Lake Area Technical Institute for Energy Technology. He developed an interest in construction management from his experience working in residential and commercial construction, pre-selling new construction homes as a real estate agent, and by taking building trade classes.

Craig’s other new business, CP Business Management, is an extension of the company in Fargo, and will also be officed in the Goss Opera House. The business will oversee the management and maintenance of all of Craig’s projects.

The businesses will share a common goal of contributing to the community with innovation, growth and vision.

“By bringing these two businesses under one roof and near our projects, we hope to establish cohesiveness and a strong sense of community with downtown residents. The impressive amenities and historic roots here make me confident that current and future downtown residents will continue to experience tremendous benefits in this newly desirable neighborhood,” said Jesse Craig.

The projects Craig is referring to include The LOFTS apartments (pictured), Downtown Park, Generations on 1st, The Ruins, and Parkside Place being built in Watertown.

The Lofts apartments project is currently under construction.

The Ruins will be a project to demolish the Palace Apartments along Kemp Avenue beginning in May 2020 and build a new apartment complex on the Palace’s footprint. The new complex will have efficiency, one, and two-bedroom apartments and include a two-level parking garage.

The other projects are expected to start later this year.
