Elkton woman injured in ATV accident

ELKTON, S.D.–An Elkton woman was injured in an ATV accident Sunday afternoon.
It happened on a minimum maintenance road just southwest of Elkton.
The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office says 30 year-old Raquel Demarteleare lost control of the ATV when she hit a deep rut in the road and lost control.
She was taken by Elkton Ambulance to the Brookings Hospital to be treated for unknown injuries.
Damage to the ATV was estimated at $7,000.
