Edgewood Senior Living in Watertown limiting visitors due to coronavirus

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Edgewood Senior Living in Watertown announced this week it is taking some “initial precautionary measures to best ensure the safety of their residents and employees.”

In a news release, Edgewood says they will be limiting “all outside visitors, including family and friends.”

People who are experiencing any symptoms such as a cough or fever, or have traveled outside the U.S. in the last 14 days will not be allowed to visit.

They will be canceling any activities that include outside organizations coming into the facility.

Edgewood will also be limiting outside transportation for residents, with the exception of medical appointments.

There have not been any cases of coronavirus in South Dakota.
