WASHINGTON, D.C.–President Biden gave the State of the Union address last night. In it, he criticized his likely opponent in the November election, Donald Trump; talked about abortion rights; taxes and the economy; and Russia and Ukraine. South Dakota Representative Dusty Johnson called the speech divisive.
He said the president glossed over one of the most crucial issues in the country – border security.
In the official Republican response to the speech, Senator Katie Britt of Alabama called Biden “dithering and diminished.” Biden’s supporters called the speech “vigorous.”
