DSU to continue hosting NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (DSUAthletics.com)– The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that Dakota State (S.D.) reached an agreement to extend its contract as the host of the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championship through 2022 season.

Dakota State just completed its first year as host of the championships at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex (SJAC) in Brookings, S.D., where the institution was awarded the ‘Best New Championship Host’ award by the NAIA in August.

The SJAC also serves the annual North Star Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Conference Championships. The 2020 NSAA indoor track and field conference meet is scheduled for Feb. 22.
