Drivers killed in head on crash east of Florence

FLORENCE, S.D.–Two people were killed Friday afternoon in a head-on crash two miles east of Florence on Highway 20.
The Highway Patrol says it happened just after 3 p.m. when an eastbound GMC Yukon drifted over the centerline and into the path of an oncoming GMC Acadia.
Both drivers, a 49 year-old man and 82 year-old woman, were dead at the scene.
Both were wearing seat belts.
Their names will be released early this week.
