Driver of fertilizer truck dead after rollover north of Goodwin

GOODWIN, S.D.–A man died Friday afternoon in a one vehicle crash seven miles north of Goodwin in Grant County.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the 33 year-old man was northbound on 467th Avenue at the intersection of 166th Street.

He was driving a 1992 GMC Conventional Fertilizer truck and failed to negotiate a curve.

The truck left the road and rolled.

The driver was dead at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt.

His name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
