BOX ELDER, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Drew Norberg’s 33 point performance would be the difference-maker in Watertown’s 66-54 win at Douglas Friday night.

Norberg went 13 of 20 from the field, four of five from three-point land, and three of four from the charity stripe.  Reese Stark added 11, Cole Holden and Mack Johnson each contributed six.

Connor Sauvage led the Patriots with 27 points.

Watertown would get 30 of the 66 points from the paint and outshoot Douglas 55 percent to 47 percent.

It wasn’t pretty but Watertown girls basketball would put together a 56-37 win at Douglas.

The Arrows were led by Maddy Rohode with 14 points on six of 11 shooting from the field, and four of eight from beyond the arc.  Kendall Paulson was right behind with 11 points, Jaida Young added nine points, grabbed nine boards, and stole the ball three times.

Douglas was led by Keana Walton with seven points.

The Watertown girls improve to 8-4 and travel to Bell Fourche Saturday for a 2 p.m. tip on 950 KWAT and GoWatertown.net/Arrows.  The Watertown boys even their record at 6-6 and come home to face Sioux Falls Lincoln on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
