DHBB: Arrow guys and girls have strong performances against Huron

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown would end their year with a W earning a 66-45 win over Huron Thursday night.

Drew Norberg’s 22 points led the Arrows. Norberg shot nine of 17 shooting from the field, and three of six from three-point land. Dawson Schmidt notched 18 points on seven of 13 shooting from the field, four of seven from three-point land, and grabbed six boards.

Watertown had one of their better shooting performances of the year going 46 percent from the field and 44 percent from deep.

Derick Siemonsma tallied 15 points for Huron.

On the girl’s side, Watertown would escape with a 46-45 win over Huron.

Olivia Corey led the Arrow attack with 13 points on five of 11 shooting from the field, and three of nine from three point land. Abby Bramer tallied 11 points, Maggie Heesch had eight and Maddy Rohde contributed six.

Isabelle Ellwein ended the night with 16 points for the Tigers.

The Arrow girls finish off their season with a record of 6-14 and await their opponent in the SoDak 16. The Arrow boys end their year with a record of 7-12 and also await their opponent in the SoDak 16.
