Deuel moves to distance learning, all high school activities cancelled.

CLEAR LAKE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Deuel High School will be transitioning to distance learning.

In a Facebook post Superintendent Chad Schiernbeck says the high school will transition beginning October 1.  All Cardinal activities are suspended through October 12th.

Deuel football was scheduled to play at home versus Great Plains Lutheran this Friday and Deubrook Area October 9th.  The next Deuel football is scheduled at Florence/Henry on October 16th.  Game to be broadcast on New Country KS93.

Volleyball was scheduled to face Clark/Willow Lake (Oct 1), Arlington (Oct 6) and Tiospa Zina (Oct 8th).  The next scheduled game for Cardinal volleyball is October 13th.

Deuel cross country will miss three meets including the Sisseton invite (Oct 1), the LCC meet (Oct 8) and the NEC meet (Oct 8).
