DeSmet rights the ship with win over Iroquois/Doland

HURON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The DeSmet girls snapped a two-game skid with a 60-24 win over Iroquois/Doland Tuesday afternoon at the Huron Classic.
The Bulldogs Kennadi Buchholz lead all scorers with 28 points on the day, including an impressive 11 of 14 shooting from inside the arc and five of seven from the line. Ella Poppinga and Cameron Schmidt each contributed eight.
Katie Dubro lead the Chiefs with 16 points and grabbed four boards.
DeSmet evens their record to 3-3 and comes back home to face Deuel on January 4th. Iroquois/Doland falls to 1-3 and will face Aberdeen Christian in Doland on January 5th.
