WATERTOWN, S.D.–Denver Air Connection (DAC) will be hiring a small number of workers in Watertown as they prepare to serve the city with commercial air service beginning July 1st.

Business Development Director Jon Coleman says they’ll be hiring four to six people within the next few weeks, with a start date in June. Ground handlers and gate agents will be needed to check passengers in and handle their luggage.

Denver Air Connection will serve Watertown with jet service to Chicago and Denver. Flight times and fares have not been announced yet. DAC was awarded a two year contract by the federal government to serve Watertown.

United Express has been Watertown’s carrier, and they’ll continue service through the end of June.
