WATERTOWN, S.D.–It looks like Watertown city officials are ready to begin public discussions on the future of City Hall.

Two years ago, they bought the Wells Fargo bank building downtown for $1.3 million with the idea of moving city operations there, but the renovation costs were simply too high to follow through.

City Manager Amanda Mack tells KWAT News since then, they’ve been looking at their options, and will discuss them at a city council work session at 5:30 tonight in the city council chambers…

Mack says a follow up meeting will be held Thursday night at 6 p.m. where the public can discuss what the plans are for City Hall going forward. That meeting will be held the community room of the Watertown Police Department.
