Day one of the NSAA Super Six in the books

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Day one of the North Star Athletic Association Super Six Volleyball Tournament is in the books.

In game one of the day Bellevue def. Waldorf in straight sets, 25-16, 25-16, 25-16. Waldorf (Iowa) ends season at 12-19 overall record and a 4-10 NSAA. Game two would go to Mayville State as they defeated Presentation 19-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-20. Presentation (S.D.) ends season at 12-18 overall record and a 6-8 in the NSAA.

The semi finals would see Dakota State defeating Bellevue 25-20, 25-20, 19-25, 21-25, 15-11. Bellevue (26-8, 10-4 NSAA) was eliminated from tge NSAA postseason and awaits to hear from NAIA national office for at-large bid to NAIA Volleyball National Tournament.  The final semi final game would see Viterbo ending the year of Mayville State 27-25-25-21-25-17.  Mayville State ends season at 21-12 overall record and a 9-5 NSAA.

NSAA Championship Match as been set as the number two seed Dakota State (19-11, 10-4 NSAA) will face the number one seed Viterbo (30-5, 13-1 NSAA) at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Watertown Civic Arena.
