MADISON, S.D. (DSUAthletics.com) – Fourth-seeded Dakota State (S.D.) rolled past fifth-seeded Dickinson State (N.D.) in three straight sets in the North Star Athletic Association volleyball quarterfinals Tuesday evening at DSU Fieldhouse. The Trojans won by the scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-20.
For the Trojans, Madalyn Groft posted a double-double of 26 set assists and collected 12 digs. Peyton Groft had 15 digs. Tayler Corey tallied 10 digs. Riley Grandpre had three blocks (1 solo, 2 assists).
Dakota State improved to 14-9 overall record. Dickinson State ended their season with an overall record of 7-10.
Dakota State will face top seeded Bellevue in the NSAA semifinals. First serve is 7 p.m next Tuesday, April 6th.
