CSB: Jacks softball look to make another deep run this season

BROOKINGS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — South Dakota State softball will open up their season this weekend and look to improve on their 2021 success.

The Jacks reached a milestone 43 win season that ended after an extra-inning loss to Stanford at the NCAA Division I Softball Championship’s Fayetteville Regional.

The Jacks will open their year at the Doc Halverson UNI-Dome Tournament in Cedar Falls, Iowa this weekend.  Coach Wood talks about the tournament:

SDSU will face Northern Iowa and Drake Friday, Iowa State and Northern Iowa on Saturday, and wrap tournament play against Nebraska on Sunday.
