BROOKINGS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — After a stormy weather weekend that culminated in two wins at North Dakota State, South Dakota State softball will come back home this week to face Summit League newcomer St. Thomas.

Last Saturday’s game one had multiple stoppages of play due to lightning and even a tornado warning. Coach Krista Wood talks about the turbulent game one which ended in 10 innings:

The Jacks would win game one 8-1 and also take game two by the same score. Sunday’s game was canceled due to weather conditions.

Mother nature is playing a factor in this week’s series with St. Thomas as the games have been moved to Thursday and Friday. Coach Wood talks about the Tommies:

Game times are noon and 2 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday.
