COVID-19 pandemic means Citywide Clean Up Week in Watertown postponed

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Some annual springtime events in Watertown have been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

City officials have announced that the annual Citywide Clean Up, the Household Hazardous Waste Event, free residential landfill disposal and the Fourth Avenue Southwest spring yard waste site are postponed, but could be rescheduled at a later date.

The Watertown Regional Landfill remains open for business Monday thru Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The public is prohibited from entering landfill buildings to maintain social distancing.
