Contract approved for “performance testing” at Prairie Lakes Ice Arena  (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT)—-The $36 million Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in Watertown is scheduled to open in December, and last night, the city council approved a contract for a company to inspect and do performance testing of the arena before it opens.

It’s a nearly $81,000 contract with Questions and Solutions Engineering Incorporated of Chaska, Minnesota.

The council approved the contract on a 6-1 vote.
