RAPID CITY, S.D.–South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson will make his future plans official tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Johnson campaign issued a news release saying the congressman will hold an event at noon tomorrow at the Alex Johnson Hotel in Rapid City to officially announce his plans to run for re-election in 2020.

It had been widely speculated that Johnson would run again, since he’s been raising money.

Johnson is a former South Dakota Public Service Commissioner and Chief of Staff to former Governor Dennis Daugaard.

He’s in his first term in Congress.
