Comeback comes up short as Washington spoils Arrows homecoming

WATERTOWN, S.D. ( —  Down 24-7 at the half, Watertown would outscore Sioux Falls Washington in the second half 22-20 but the Warriors would end up spoiling the Arrows homecoming by a final of 44-29.

Kale Stevenson was 11 of 29 through the air for 167 yards and one touchdown.  On the ground, Stevenson had 23 carries for 80 yards and 1 TD. Mac Young would carry the rock 13 times for 56 yards.  Dawson Schmidt hauled in four receptions for 88 yards and one score.

On the defensive side of the ball, Mack Johnson would lead Watertown with seven tackles.  Washington would turn the ball over four times.  Kale Stevenson, would haul in 2 INTS, Dawson Schmidt and Devin Miles each with one.
