Collision between ATV, pickup kills southeastern North Dakota man

LISBON, N.D. – (KFGO) – A fatal crash was reported involving two vehicles on Highway 27 outside of Lisbon just before 6 p.m. Saturday.
A Bobcat side-by-side ATV, driven by a man from Lisbon, was traveling southbound on 132nd Ave. SE. The pickup truck, driven by a 29-year-old man also of Lisbon, was traveling eastbound on Highway 27 from Lisbon.
The ATV driver, identified as 67-year-old William Funk of Lisbon, traveled south through the intersection and was struck on the passenger side.
The ATV and truck came to rest in the south ditch of Highway 27. The driver and 31-year-old female passenger of the pickup were transported to Lisbon Hospital for treatment for their injuries suffered in the crash.
Funk was transported to Lisbon Hospital, where he died. The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Ransom County Sheriff’s Department, Lisbon Police Department, Lisbon Ambulance, and the Lisbon Fire Department responded to the crash.
