WATERTOWN, S.D.— Memorial Park campground on Lake Kampeska will be open on a limited basis during the month of May.
The Codington County Board of Commissioners discussed to what extent the campground should be open at their meeting today.
They opted to approve the recommendation made by County Facilities Manager Steve Molengraaf, which is to keep campsites open, but to close off a lot of other areas where the coronavirus could be transmitted……..
The restrictions will be in place through the end of May, but they are subject to change, depending on COVID-19 conditions.
The board will revisit the issue again in June.
