WATERTOWN, S.D.—Tuesday is primary election day in South Dakota, and it’s a vote that will be conducted during an ongoing global pandemic.

Codington County’s chief elections officer, Auditor Cindy Brugman, tells KWAT News it’s been different getting ready for this election…

Finding enough election day workers has been a challenge in the past, and this year has been no different, especially among the elderly who work the polling sites….

If you got out and vote Tuesday, Brugman says you’ll notice some differences…

Polling sites are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can hear election results after the polls close on KWAT and our group of six Watertown Radio stations.
