Codington County sheriff says new courthouse screening equipment flagging many weapons (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.—The new security screening system at the front entrance to the Codington County Courthouse continues to be a busy place, and it’s doing an excellent job at keeping weapons out of the building.

Sheriff Brad Howell stopped by the KWAT Studios this morning, and gave an update on what the numbers looked like last month…

The new walk-thru metal detector went into service in late May.
