Codington County Commission signs off on Election Day results

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Codington County Board of Commissioners met Thursday to officially certify this week’s election results, which included the election of Tyler McElhany to the five-member board.
More than 13,000 ballots were cast in the county. Statewide, voter turnout was just under 70-percent.
The board also lifted the burn ban that had been in place in the county due to extremely dry conditions, and they renewed liquor licenses for Country Road Barn, Dakota Sioux Casino, Joy Ranch, Rooster Sports Bar and Southfork Lounge.
