WATERTOWN, S.D.–Two Codington County Commission candidates facing each other in next month’s primary took part in a candidate forum Tuesday night.
Incumbent Lee Gabel is being challenged by Kerry Jorgenson.
Jorgenson was asked for his assessment of the county’s roads and bridges and the ongoing maintenance of them….
Gabel was asked about possible sharing of city of Watetown and county resources when the city builds its new Street Department building right across Highway 20 from the county shop….
The winner of the Jorgenson-Gabel race on June 7th will face Democrat Raymond Johnson in the general election November 8th.
