Sioux Falls, S.D.–As it turns out, every day is Christmas when it comes to so-called “porch pirates.”
They’re the people that steal packages off the front doorsteps of homes after their dropped off by the deliveryman.
Sioux Falls police spokesman Sam Clemens says these types of thefts are happening year-round–not just during the holiday season…
Clemens says the safest thing to do is to pick up your packages from the delivery company.
