Class A & B region volleyball brackets set
WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The brackets have been set for the Class A & B region volleyball tournament.
In Region 1B, Opening round Monday night will feature the eight seed Leola/Frederick hosting the nine seed Wilmot at 7 p.m. Winner will face the top seed Northwestern Tuesday night. Game two Monday night will pit the seven seed Waubay/Summit vs the ten seed Britton-Hecla at 7 p.m. Winner will face the two see Warner at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Other Tuesday games in Region 1B will feature the four seed Great Plains Lutheran facing the five seed Waverly-South Shore at 7 p.m. and the three seed Langford taking on the six seed Aberdeen Christian, also at 7 p.m. SoDak 16 qualifying games will be played Thursday night, 7 p.m. each at the higher seed.
In Region 3B, Opening round Monday night games will all be played in De Smet and will feature the host and number nine seed Bulldogs facing the eight seed Wessington Springs at 5:30 p.m. Game two at 6:45 p.m. will pit the seven seed James Valley Christian vs the ten seed Lake Preston. Final game of Monday night at 8 p.m. will feature the six seed Arlington taking on the eleven seed Iroquis/Doland.
Tuesday night games in Region 3B at Castlewood will the four seed Deubrook Area vs Hitchcock-Tulare at 6 p.m. followed by the host and one seeded Warriors at 7:15 p.m. Region 3B games in Wolsey Tuesday night will feature the three seed Estelline/Hendricks at 6 p.m. followed by the two seed Wolsey-Wessington at 7:15pm. SoDak 16 qualifiying games will be played November 7th at 6 and 7:15 p.m. at De Smet high school.
Opening round games for Region 1A will be played Tuesday night. The four seed Redfield will face the five seed Tiospa Zina t 6 p.m. at Groton. This will be followed by the host Tigers taking on the seven seed Sisseton at 7:30 p.m. Other Tuesday games will feature the host and three seed Webster facing the six seed Milbank at 7 p.m. Aberdeen Roncalli is the one seed and earned a bye. SoDak 16 qualifying games will be played on November 7th at the higher seed.
Opening round games Tuesday for Region 2A will all be held at the higher seed. Number four Deuel will host number five Flandreau at 7 p.m., number two Sioux Valley will take on number seven Flandreau Indion at 7 p.m. and number three Clark/Willow Lake will face the six seed Florence/Henry at 7 p.m. Hamlin is the number one seed and earned a bye. SoDak 16 qualifying games will be played at November 7th at the higher seed.
