City of Watertown holds annual awards banquet

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The city of Watertown handed out awards Saturday night during its annual employee awards banquet at Studio 212.
The City Employee of the Year Award was given to Parks, Recreation and Forestry Superintendent Matt Brandsrud.
The One in a Million Award went to Prairie Lakes Wellness Center Superintendent Theresa Hillis.
The Mentor of the Year Award was given to Public Works Director Heath Von Eye.
Human Rescources Director Darci Nichols won the Rookie of the Year Award.
The Caregiver Award was won by Ryan Fischer of the Watertown Police Department.
Lastly, the Creativity Award went to Michelle Miller, who works at the Bramble Park Zoo.
