City of Watertown employees getting payroll supplement in January

WATERTOWN, S.D.–It’s being called a, “token of appreciation” from the Watertown City Council.

Council President Adam Lalim says the city will use Federal CARES Act funding to provide a $1,200 payroll supplement to all full-time employees of the city.

All part-time, retirement-eligible employees of the city of Watertown will receive an $800 supplement.

The supplements will be formally approved at a council meeting next month, and will be distributed in a lump sum on January paychecks.
