PIERRE, S.D. ( — Watertown Cheer and Dance competed at the Pierre Invite on Saturday.

Arrow dance would take home a fourth-place score of 231.50, second place in pom with a 319.5, and first place in hip-hop with a score of 312.

“The girls came out strong and gave it their all on their routines,” said Coach Amber Thomas. “I’m very proud of them for working so hard the two days in practice to prepare these routines for the competition.”

Arrow cheer would struggle but come away with a fourth-place finish with a score of 185.50.

“Today was a disappointing performance,” said Coach Malory Hoffman.  “We had several changes to our routine in the last week and the girls weren’t able to have a clean performance”
