RAPID CITY, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) —  The Watertown Arrows are the 2019 Class AA State Volleyball Champions.

The Arrows downed Sioux Falls O’Gorman 3-0 on Saturday night to take their first title since 1997.  Set scores 25-21, 25-23, 25-16.

Sophie Tietz and Mckenzie Buisker would lead the way with 10 kills each, Meghan Heggelund with seven and Alexx Bayles with two.

Bayles would tally 25 assists in the game.

Defensively, Siri Kranz would account for 15 digs, Devyn Keller with 10 and Delaney Heller with eight.

The Arrows will finish the season with a record of 28-2 and will graduate seniors Siri Kranz, Sophie Tietz, Delaney Heller, Mckenzie Buisker, Meghan Heggelund, Alexx Bayles and Devyn Keller.
