Three and a half months after making an appearance in the Football Championship Subdivision national title game, the South Dakota State football team returns to action by opening the 2021 season at Colorado State.

Coach John Stiegelmeier says they are excited to open the season at Colorado State:

The Jackrabbits posted an 8-2 record during the COVID-19 spring season and won a share of the Missouri Valley Football Conference title.  Colorado State was limited to four games last fall turning in a 1-3 record against Mountain West Conference opponents.  Coach Stig talks about the Rams:

Kickoff set for 8 p.m. central time.  Catch the game on Watertown Radio’s sister station, 910 AM The Ranch out of Brookings.
