BROOKINGS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — For the second week in a row, South Dakota State football’s week will not have a game.

The Missouri Valley Football Conference postponed the North Dakota State-South Dakota State Dakota Marker game scheduled on Saturday, April 3, due to positive COVID-19 test results and subsequent contact tracing in NDSU’s Tier 1 personnel, which consists of student-athletes, coaches, managers and staff.

The Jacks have had good luck navigating the pandemic so far this year. South Dakota State Coach John Stiegelmeier credits Director of Football Operations Jonathan Shaeffer:

The Dakota Marker game has been rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 17. Tickets purchased for the April 3 game will be valid on April 17.
