VERMILLION, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — South Dakota, which has played three of four on the road to start the season, returns home to host North Dakota State this week inside the DakotaDome.
NDSU lost for the first time in 40 games on February 21st. Since then, the Bison have won three straight including a 34-13 thrashing of in-state rival North Dakota last week. NDSU Coach Matt Entz talks about the Coyote offense:
South Dakota is one of just four teams that have beaten North Dakota State since 2015. It was six years ago when USD shocked NDSU 24-21 in Fargo, ending the Bison’s 26-game Valley home win streak. South Dakota has forced 11 turnovers in four games this season. That’s the best average for any FCS team that has played at least four games.
Game time 1 p.m. Saturday. You can hear the game in the Watertown area on the Talk of Watertown, 1480 KSDR through the Coyote Sports Network. John Thayer will have the play-by-play coverage.
