WATERTOWN, S.D.–A new location, but the familiar message of duty, honor and country was delivered at today’s Veteran’s Day program in Watertown.
It was held at the Watertown Civic Arena with schoolchildren in attendance.
Lake Area Technical College President Mike Cartney, who had a 30 year active duty Air Force career, was the keynote speaker…
Jerry Denman, President of VVA Chapter 1054, was presented with the Codington County Veteran of the Year Award, Todd Rose was recognized as the South Dakota Veteran’s Services Officer Newcomer Award, and
Dennis Solberg was recognized with the VFW All American Commander Award.
