WATERTOWN, S.D.–The city of Watertown is eligible to receive a little over five million dollars from the federal government to help cover local costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mayor Sarah Caron says the city has to prove those expenditures were related to the virus…

If the city can’t get to that five-million dollar benchmark, then they have to return any unused money…

There were other pandemic-related costs…
