California murder suspect arrested in Pierre

PIERRE, S.D.–A 41 year old murder suspect from California was arrested without incident Tuesday in Pierre.
Police received information that Bryan Parker of San Diego was staying at a residence in the area. The City of San Diego had issued an arrest warrant for Parker concerning a murder in their jurisdiction.
The arrest warrant was served in the 200 block of North Euclid just before 10am. The Central South Dakota SWAT team assisted the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigations in the joint operation.
Parker is being held at the Hughes County Jail.
