ABERDEEN, S.D.–No official announcement has been made yet, but it’s looking highly unlikely there will be a Brown County Fair in Aberdeen this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 23-member fair board voted unanimously Tuesday to cancel this year’s fair.

Fair Manager Derek Ricci says one of the scheduled entertainers at this year’s fair– the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band– has already said it will not be coming to Aberdeen.
