Eyewitnesses say a white male in his 20’s wearing a gray shirt and driving an early 2000’s model Buick LeSabre pointed a gun at children in the 200-block of 2nd Street before turning onto Elk Street.

After departing the area, the driver returned and drove by the children a second time.

Brookings County sheriff’s deputies and South Dakota Highway Patrol troopers saturated the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
