Brookings County authorities investigate burglary at highway shop

BROOKINGS, S.D.—The Brookings County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary at the County Highway Shop in Bruce.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says a ten drawer tool box with miscellaneous tools was taken.
The suspect pried open a door to gain entry to the building.
The value of the loss is estimated at more than $5,000.
The burglary happened between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
