Britton man sentenced on child porn charge

PIERRE, S.D.–A 31-year-old Britton man has been sentenced to prison for charges involving child pornography.
John Dalstein pled guilty to two counts of possessing, manufacturing or distributing child pornography. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for each of the counts with five years suspended on each count.
The defendant was arrested after a CyberTip was investigated by the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit, which is part of the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
