WATERTOWN, S.D.–A 65 year-old Watertown woman is in jail for allegedly shooting her husband in the head Wednesday night.
Watertown Police Captain Kirk Ellis tells KWAT News Director Mike Tanner what happened….
Ellis says the shooting victim, Randy Tormanen, sustained serious injuries…
Sherri Tormanen (pictured) is charged with Aggravated Assault and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm.
Ellis was asked if police have determined the circumstances that led up to the shooting…
Sherri Tormanen is being held in the Codington County Jail on $100,000 cash bond. If she bonds out of jail, she is to have no contact with her husband, and not possess any firearms.
Ellis says a weapon, a .22 caliber pistol, has been recovered.
