BREAKING: SDHSAA approves sanctioning of high school softball
PIERRE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The South Dakota High School Activities Association approved the sanctioning of the sport of softball at their meeting Wednesday in Pierre.
The softball steering committee recommended at their Oct. 27th meeting to implement softball in 2022-2023. The SDHSAA did not give clear guidelines on whether a fall or spring season, or a split Class AA fall and Class A/B spring season would be played.
The SDHSAA Board of Directors will discuss the issue further at the January 2022 meeting.
