Boys soccer continues historic run, girls season comes to an end

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow boys soccer continued their historic run through the playoffs while the Arrow girls soccer season came to an end over the weekend.
The twelve seed Arrow girls soccer fell to the four seed Brandon Valley on Saturday, 3-0. Watertown ends their season with a record of 5-5-1 and graduates seven seniors, Jocelyn Klitzke, Abby Carlson, Delanie Tschakert, Tierney Hodorff, Olivia Fox, Gracie Cole, Abby Hartman, and Jessalyn Holden.
For the first time in the history of the program, the three seeded Watertown boys soccer advanced to the semifinal round of the State AA Soccer Playoffs with a 1-0 victory over the six seed Sioux Falls Lincoln. The Arrows will face the seven seed Sioux Falls O’Gorman on Tuesday, 6 p.m. at the Anza Soccer Complex. The winner will advance to the AA State Title Game on October 17th at Harrisburg.
