BROOKINGS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Brookings hung around but Watertown put down the Bobcats in four sets Tuesday night. Set scores of 26-24, 25-18, 24-26, 25-19.

Jadyn Hoftiezer was the serving leader for the Arrows going 24 of 24 with four aces. Olivia Corey would also go 23 of 23 at the line with one ace and Abby Bramer 14 of 14, also with one ace.

On the attack, Emerson Smith would lead the way with 12 kills, Hoftiezer with 10 and Maggie Heesch with nine.

Defensibly Hoftiezer would tally 26 digs and Anna Johnson with 20.

The lower levels would struggle as JV (24-26, 17-25), Sophomores (21-25, 25-23, 7-15) and, Freshman A (26-24, 22-25, 10-15) would all fall to the Bobcats. Freshman B (15-25, 25-15, 16-14) would be the lone lower level to score a victory.
