WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT)–The National Weather Service has now posted a Blizzard Warning for the far northeast corner of South Dakota from 6 p.m. tonight until 9 a.m. tomorrow.
Forecaster Troy Kleffman says rain, changing to snow, will move in from the south tonight, and strong winds will kick up….
KWAT News asked Kleffman the two key questions everyone is interested in–how strong will the winds be, and how much snow can we expect???
This will be a fast-moving system that moves in tonight, and exits the area by tomorrow morning….
Counties in the Blizzard Warning are Traverse, Big Stone, Marshall, Roberts, Day, Clark, Codington, Grant, Hamlin and Deuel.
The rest of eastern South Dakota is under a Winter Weather Advisory.
