CASTLEWOOD, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Region 2B 19U VFW Baseball Tournament continued on Wednesday with two big games.

In the losers bracket, Big Stone City defeated Volga 13-9 to earn a spot in the championship game. Big Stone City dropped a big seven spot in the first inning to take the early lead and never look back. However, Volga would out hit Big Stone City in the game 11-6.

That would set up a Big Stone City vs Castlewood-Clear Lake championship game where Big Stone caught fire and defeated Castlewood-Clear Lake 10-3 to force a game two. Big Stone City would drop 12 hits in the game. Castlewood-Clear Lake would have seven.

Game two of the Region 2B 19U Championship Game will be played at 3 p.m. this afternoon (Thursday) in Castlewood.
